Climate Action Canal Club – 6-Week Ongoing Programme

Join us each Wednesday for a new activity: treasure hunt, recycling, planting, clean-up, relay race, and a trip to Kew Gardens.

Week 1

Canal Treasure Hunt & History Walk

Kick off the programme with an interactive treasure hunt along the historic Westminster waterways, discovering hidden local heritage and meeting fellow participants.

Week 2

Eco Recycling & Upcycling Workshop

Learn practical sustainability skills by transforming everyday waste into useful household items and garden planters while discussing local environmental action.

Community Planting & Green Spaces

Get your hands dirty as we plant native wildflowers and seasonal bulbs along the canal banks to boost local biodiversity and brighten our shared outdoor spaces.

Week 4

Canal Clean-Up & Biodiversity Survey

Work as a team to clear litter from the towpaths and water edge, followed by a guided survey of local wildlife, birds, and aquatic plants spotted in the area.

Eco Relay Race & Team Games

Kew Gardens Celebration Trip
